When it comes to happy places and comfort zones there's no other place like a botanical gardens and its glasshouse. This sanctuary of stillness, slow life, natural aesthetics and a mathematical order of grow immediately get the heart rate down and cool off the sometimes overloaded city-life head. Naturally, the slow paced kind of walking kicks in, breathing calms and the gaze gets filled with calming green. At the moment it's my very favourite place to bring people for photo sessions - greenhouses. Who's in next? Hit me a text. But don't wonder if i push you into a bush ;-) Hamburg has some nice green spaces to be explored.
Meanwhile, here's the session with my friend Steve. We made it for a couple of late afternoon hours to the Botanical Garden in Berlin. Had some cake, some prosecco and a whole lot of inspiration.
To visit and plan - check the website of the Botanical Garden Berlin. They also host a facebook site for their events. It's a bit outside of the city center, but so worth to check it out for at least a half of a day and pay a few euro fee for the entrance. Next goal for me – go check it out in the wintertime and hope for snow all around.
