Today was the main demonstration against this weekends G20 summit in Hamburg. And as I'm officially a citizen of Hamburg now, I followed along. More out of curiosity than because of any political belief. Altogether it was a peaceful walk with lots of music, speeches and statements for solidarity. I'm keeping it short with words this time and let the pics speak for themselves.
And because there were many unpleasant incidents following the summit, the only thing I'd like to stress here is the vast differences between the definitions of a Protester, a Demonstration and Vandalism. Just in case you'll see many other not that pleasant pictures in the TV and hear some of those words from above. (At least I know by brother in Lithuania called me up in anxiety to ask whether I’m ok after seeing the international news - yes, all is fine.)
